Chair of the Day Again, Legislative Day 88 of 90

Today, I took the chair at 8:30 a.m. to run the House of Representatives' Order of Business 7, Second Reading of Bills. In these last days of the regular session, we'll call to order two or three times a day as conference committees consider bills and move committee reports. The committee reports then are referred to each chamber, the Senate and the House, for concurrence, and then to the governor's desk.

We reconvene at 1, with the second agenda of the day, when I'll resume my duties as chair of the day.
